Yeppers, the day has arrived. All of our children are in the "big school" now. It was hard getting up this morning, but we made it. I made the girls a big breakfast, took some pictures, and off we went to the first day of school. While Sydney and Kassie weren't fazed by a new school year, Madeline who has been stoked to go all summer, finally had her first butterflies about going. We were standing at her classroom door, and all of a sudden she got so nervous because it was setting in. Today is the first day of school, but Madeline only had her orientation today. We went for an hour and a half so the kids could get familiarized with the school, and then we were done. She has her first full day tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Andy isn't helping the situation either. He's having an anxiety attack about all of this. He doesn't want her to grow up! To his credit, I understand, she is our baby. He'll get over it though, I'll make sure of that! :)
