Pool Day

So to beat the summer heat (it's in the upper 80's today), Andy and Scott decided to dig a hole at the end of the slide and put in an inflatable kiddie pool so the girls could cool off. Here they are in the process of digging.


So as you can imagine, the girls were very excited and anxious about it! Here they are waiting "patiently" at the top of the slide as the pool filled with water.

So of course, Sydney went first. Here is her first big splash.


Next was Kassie. She had some speed going down that slide. She made a big splash!


Then last but not least it was Madeline's turn. She wanted to go on the slide so bad and finally when she got her turn she almost chickened out. Finally she went down with a little coaxing from everyone, and this is her splash.

So all in all, the girls had a blast! I think the boys did a great job making it a fun afternoon for everyone, even if they did get blisters on their hands because of the "manual labor!"
