Planting a Tree

Since we bought our house in March of last year, we have been lacking one thing. We have no trees in our yard. There are trees all around us in all of our neighbors yards, but we have none. That changed today. Andy, the girls and I went to Clear Creek Nursery yesterday in search of a tree. Experts say right now is the best time to plant a bare root tree. So off we went. We looked all around the place looking for the perfect tree. We finally found it in the far back corner. There it stood, in all its glory. A Crimson King Norwegian Maple. It was beautiful even in all its bareness. We paid for it, then realized we had no transport for it. We had to leave it there until today, when we had someone help us bring it home. After much thought, we decided it was to be planted in the far right corner of our front yard. So, we promptly started digging a hole for it. Here are our pictures of our new tree being planted.

Me, filling the hole. I plant trees real good! :)
Our new tree!!! Isn't it pretty!
I know it's bare right now, but I will post updates when it gets all its leaves and little flowers.
