So after a lot of begging and pleading and promising she wouldn't give it up, we let Sydney join basketball this year. (We had a long talk with her about dedication to something you want to do after the whole violin debacle.) She plays for North Perry, and has been having practices since November, but they just recently started playing games against the other teams. She loves it, and is really good at it, so it is a lot of fun to watch her. Tonight she had a game in Port Orchard at Sedgwick Junior High against the South Kitsap team. They won, yay! It is so super exciting to see my big baby girl doing something she loves. She's growing into such a wonderful young lady.
